I went to see Argo on Sunday, what a great film, it had a real 70's feel about it. I suppose  if you don't remember the 70's you won't be able to identify with that last bit, easy to remedy - go and see Argo!

I love thrillers and factual stuff, and this did not disappoint, I was sat on the edge of my seat for almost half an hour towards the end. At times, the film made you feel like you were actually there, especially in the opening scene - I personally was glad I wasn't.

Argo deserved the Oscar, plus I feel rather cool in going to the cinema to see it pre-gong.

I have started using treatment pads by Cane and Austin, a little pricey for my budget but a treatment in a salon would have worked out much more expensive over time. I did some online research and these appealed to me as a 40+ confidence booster and with great reviews about diminished wrinkles, even skin tone and so on they ticked all the right boxes. I also brought a moisturiser by Nuxe, a French brand, to use after applying the pad. Treatment commenced on Sunday. So far I have to say I am impressed, my skin seems brighter, I do have fairly good skin but it could be heeps better.....time will tell. I think I could be on to a winner!

Short term thinking has become very ageing

Why is that I enjoy drinking wine when the benefits are so negative for your skin and weight, I continue to be a stupid, short-term thinker. Note to self, sorted it out!

Drink water, decafe tea, no coffee and stop munching on crisps, simple isn't it? Then, why, oh why, do I continue to screw up? My rear is nearly the size of a foot rest, honestly!

40+

When I was a child I remember my mother having the stereotype short, set hair and wearing clothes suitable for a 40+ woman. (A matching twin set.) Now, in the 21^st Century, woman of all ages are able to mature in a way that compliments their sexuality and age without appearing ‘past their sell by date’.  The age deifying revolution has taken place, today ladies of 40+ are looking youthful, trendy and like a good wine, can have a certain something that their juniors can not buy online, well that's my theory.

I am really glad that they have developed foundation that aims to de-crease my face. Good news for me and judging by the price of the good stuff, great news for the cosmetic giants.
